Family Day at Windak – Olympic style! 🏆

On August 13, Windak OÜ in Estonia brought employees, their families and Rosendahl colleagues Johann Jäkel and Johannes Handl-Weber together for a special evening of Windak Olympic Games.

From inflatable human foosball, a giant Crocs throwing challenge and nail hammering to children’s activities, great food and entertainment, the evening gave our families a chance to experience the Windak atmosphere, see where we spend our working days and introduce them to the people who are part of it.

It was also a great opportunity to connect with colleagues from the Rosendahl Nextrom and enjoy some time together outside our usual working routines.

🌟 SUMMER INTERN SPOTLIGHT
We’re proud to recognize Elwin Hernandez for his contributions as an Accounting Intern at Windak Inc. USA this summer!

During his time with us, Elwin gained valuable hands-on experience across several areas of our organization. His work included supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and helping gather source documents for our internal finance audit.

Beyond his day-to-day tasks, Elwin brought a great attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine willingness to learn. We truly enjoyed having him as part of the Windak team and are happy to have contributed to his professional development.

🎉 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT
This week, we celebrated two more 5-year work anniversaries at Windak – congratulations to Sander Saar and Hendrik Veski!

Both have grown professionally during their time at Windak OÜ in Estonia, although their journeys have been very different.

⚡ Sander joined the electrical engineering team at a time when the company was growing and additional engineering support was becoming essential. Over the years, he has become a trusted right hand to his manager “Sander is intelligent, proactive, and always ready to take on even the most challenging tasks. He often finds unconventional solutions and is constantly looking for new ways to improve,” says Aleksei Pletshenko, Head of the Electrical Design Department.

⚡ Hendrik started at Windak as an electrician and has continuously developed his skills, progressing to Senior Electrician, Team Leader, and now Electrical Engineer. "His hands-on production experience gives him a valuable perspective and helps him approach engineering challenges from a different angle," adds Aleksei.

Sander and Hendrik, thank you for your dedication, initiative, and contribution to Windak’s development.

Today, we are celebrating 𝗔𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗲 ’𝘀 𝟱-𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 with Windak Inc. in the USA!

Throughout his journey with Windak, Aaron has proven his versatility and dedication. He started as a rigger, transitioned into shipping and receiving, and is now shining in his current role as our Parts Administrative Assistant.

His steady presence and sharp intellect make him invaluable to our parts department. Known for being exceptionally reliable, dependable, calm, and patient, Aaron brings a deeply compassionate nature to everything he does, showing genuine care for others.

In our fast-paced environment, he expertly navigates the daily needs of both our customers and service technicians, ensuring everything runs smoothly with a grace and capability that we simply couldn’t do without.

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 ⛳
Daniel Shelander, Sales Manager at Windak Inc., recently joined Paul Douwes from Reel Options at the 2026 Southwire Company Veterans Network Golf Tournament in Carrollton, Georgia, USA.

“Southwire is a long-standing Windak customer and an important partner to us. We were proud to participate in an event that brought customers, partners, and industry colleagues together in support of the veteran community,” says Dan.

Dan and Paul also had a fantastic result on the course, taking 🥇1st place with an impressive score of -10.
However, the most meaningful outcome of the day went far beyond the leaderboard.

The tournament benefited Building Homes for Heroes, Inc., an organization that supports veterans and their families by providing mortgage-free homes and long-term assistance, helping them build more secure and stable future.

It was a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships beyond everyday business while contributing to a cause that makes a lasting difference.

When coil weight increases, manual handling becomes a real challenge, especially with high-output coiling lines.

It is not only about keeping production speed.
It is also about protecting operators and maintaining a stable, efficient end-of-line process.

When coiling larger cables or alternative products, winding precision is only one part of the challenge.

The coil also has to stay stable.
The cable end has to remain secured.
And the package needs to move through handling, palletizing, and logistics without becoming loose.

That is why 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗸 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗖𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗙𝗖𝟱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗖𝟴 can be equipped with different coil securing options depending on product stiffness, coil weight, and handling flow.
