Projects don't wait for convenient locations or convenient schedules.

Over 25 years, SRC has completed more than 5,000 projects for shipowners and operators worldwide, with teams working from Estonia, Italy, Norway, and the Netherlands.
One of our first major ship conversions came in 2014, converting the RoPax ferry MV Silja Europa into an offshore accommodation vessel, reconfiguring cabins built for 3,000 passengers into 1,450 single-person cabins across 55,000 m² of accommodation and public space. The retrofit was completed in 37 days, with over 1,300 people working 24/7 across Tallinn, Turku, and Barrow Island, and during the vessel's voyage.

Since then, that scale of work has continued, most recently with large-scale refits on vessels such as Isabella and Saga.

Whatever the location, whatever the deadline, our teams are ready to travel to it.

Tailored to the vessel, not the other way around.

Before any heat pump unit is specified, we assess the vessel's thermal demand, onboard layout, and interfaces with existing HVAC, hot water and sanitary systems.

Unlike replacing an ageing chiller or boiler, a heat pump delivers both heating and cooling simultaneously. 1 kW of electrical input can deliver up to 11 kW of combined thermal output.

An EPCI interior refit means one contract covering from engineering to final installation.

On Stena Nordica, that scope covered three distinct areas of the vessel. The public spaces on deck 4 were converted and refurbished. All 57 passenger cabins were refreshed. And an entirely new accommodation block was built on deck 6, adding the Stena Plus Lounge, Hygge Lounge, movie lounges and public washrooms.

A dedicated team delivered the project from public areas, cabins to a new deck-level structure, coordinated as one programme rather than three separate jobs.

Interior refits rarely stay contained to the interior.

Reconfiguring a space usually means reworking what runs behind it — piping, HVAC, electrical. SRC handles both, which means refit and system modifications are engineered and delivered as one scope rather than handed off between contractors.

That's what lets us offer interior refits as part of a complete EPCI solution: engineering, procurement, construction and installation, managed by one team from design through to final installation.

Methanol Superstorage delivers near twice the methanol and ethanol fuel storage volume of conventional tanks, without compromising on safety.

It's applicable to all vessel types and ready for integration. The technology holds Type Approval from RINA, alongside Approval in Principle from Lloyd's Register, ClassNK, and the Panama Maritime Authority.
