One year ago, we lost our CEO, Ilja Lavrov. It is still difficult to put into words what that loss meant — not only for Wisercat as a company, but for the people who worked alongside him.

Today, we remember him with deep gratitude and respect. His sharp mind, exceptional technical depth, curiosity and high standards shaped Wisercat from its very foundations. Much of what the company is built on today began with the way he thought, worked and approached difficult problems.

We are also deeply grateful to everyone who has been close to Wisercat throughout this year — our team members, past and present, our clients, partners and friends. Your trust, support and willingness to stay alongside us have meant more than we can easily put into words.

It has been a demanding year, with many changes and challenges along the way. Through them, we have tried to stay true to the principles on which Wisercat was built technical depth, thoughtful problem-solving, responsibility for what we create, and the belief that things worth doing should be done properly. At the same time, staying true to our foundations does not mean standing still. The world around us is changing, and we are finding our own way forward within it. Perhaps continuity is not about keeping everything as it was. It is about knowing what should never be lost while having the courage to build what comes next.

What Ilja built remains part of Wisercat — and part of the way we move forward.

International Cat Day is about cats🐈, but behind every happy paw there are people who make it possible.🐾

Supporting MTÜ Kassi Elu has become a special Wisercat tradition, and this year we added a little something for their volunteers too — a jar full of appreciation. Because whether it’s caring for cats or building great projects, it’s the people behind the work who make the real difference.🫶

Not everything we build is digital
This time — flowers, cocktails, conversations, and a little spring party with the amazing women of Wisercat.

Long days, multiple roles, a lot going on in one head — and then, model ships. ⛵

In this video, one of our team members shares how he balances demanding work in system analytics with a hobby that helps him slow down, reset, and focus.

Turns out patience and precision matter both at work and in the workshop.

Happy 108th, Estonia 💙🖤🤍

And yes — kiluvõileib mandatory.

Black bread. Kilu. Egg. Tiny flag on top.
If you know, you know 🇪🇪

Most of the country is offline today.
Half-days before. Empty offices. Long weekend energy.

But Estonia? Never offline.

e-Government. e-Tax. e-Residency.
Digital signatures. Online voting.
Servers don’t take national holidays.

Proud to build in the world’s most digital society.
Proud to be part of the story.

Head aega, spreadsheets.
Elagu Eesti. 🇪🇪

👉 Meet the people behind the code🧩

Last Wednesday was International LEGO Day, so we decided to surprise Leo, one of our senior developers, with a visit to his LEGO room.

What started as a childhood hobby has turned into decades of building, experimenting, and refining — a mindset that fits naturally with software development. In a short video chat, Leo talked about how LEGO connects to coding, how it shaped the way he thinks, and whether it’s more of an escape or a source of inspiration.

‼Fun fact: among his collection, Leo also keeps a LEGO catalog from 1993 — a small but meaningful reminder that curiosity and creativity can last a lifetime.

At Wisercat, we love discovering what inspires the people who build the systems our clients rely on every day🚀

🔐 Happy Data Privacy Day!🥳

Data privacy isn’t just about rules and compliance.
It’s about quality.

Clear processes, clear responsibilities, and consistency in how we build and deliver software — that’s how data stays protected.

That’s why data privacy is part of our ISO 9001:2015–certified processes here at Wisercat — from design to delivery.

Because real trust starts with quality🚀

This weekend was Mentor Day and it felt especially meaningful for us.

Last Friday, we also celebrated Andrei’s birthday 🥳 — one of our mentors who’s been with Wisercat almost from day one.

That’s what mentoring looks like here: long-term commitment, shared growth, and people who pass knowledge forward because they truly care. Andrei’s journey reflects the culture we value — building others up while growing together.

Thank you to all our mentors 🙇‍♂️ for setting the tone, leading by example, and keeping mentoring a living part of who we are 💙
