Our DART aerial target is built to replicate real threat profiles in air defence training. Now we are working on a target that mimics jet-powered Shahed-type drones, which are faster and harder to intercept. In late September, Ukraine’s presidential office reported an interception rate of 57% for these drones, compared to 70% for drones overall.

Interceptors and air defence systems need a realistic target to be tested and trained against. We plan the first demonstration by the end of 2027.

From 12 to 14 October, KrattWorks will be in Washington DC for AUSA 2026, together with the Estonian defence industry delegation. AUSA is North America's premier land power exhibition, where the US Army, industry and allied nations meet.

The United States is a priority market for us. Our aerial targets are already a force multiplier for military training in Europe, and next week we will be meeting partners to discuss how they can support US forces in the same way.

Here is another lesson we have learned from 🇺🇦 from day one, that is slowly gaining recognition across : our militaries need to learn how to disperse , as Ukraine does, because this is the only way to preserve our production under the attack.

NATO countries have built their industries around peacetime logic, with at its core. But the times, they are a-changin’, and this time, not for the better.

This is why at KrattWorks we have made distributed manufacturing a core principle in how we build our organisation and production model. Otherwise, as KrattWorks Head of Sales Karmo Saar told Business Insider: “When the war strikes, I think we’re going to be punished.”

Hard to miss: the big orange wing at stand C70.

This week you'll find us at Tallinn Defence Expo during Estonian Defence Week.

That wing is DART, a platform that can work as an aerial target for air defence training, as a radar decoy, or as a long-range strike drone. One platform for all three roles makes it a force multiplier for the units that use it.

Our multirotor systems are also on display. We're here until Thursday, so stop by if you're at the expo.

Defence journalists from different countries came to see Estonia's drone industry in the air.

KrattWorks Head of Sales Karmo Saar walked them through two ends of our product line: DART, our fixed-wing UAS, and a swarm of small multicopters operating together. Different scales, same purpose: a force multiplier in the field.

KrattWorks' revenue grew nearly 28x last year — from around €0.5M in 2024 to €19.5M in 2025 — with a target of hundreds of millions in the years ahead. Estonian business newspaper Äripäev wanted to know how Madis Müller fits into that trajectory.

He told the paper he sees KrattWorks as an exciting company with ambitious plans, and that he'll help think through the company's financial management as it prepares for its next growth phase.

KrattWorks is bringing in extra firepower to strengthen our financial and regulatory footing: Madis Müller joins us as Financial Advisor.

He served as Governor of Eesti Pank (the Bank of Estonia) from 2019 to 2026, following nearly eight years as Deputy Governor. As Governor, he was a member of the ECB's Governing Council and represented Estonia at the IMF and the Bank for International Settlements. Earlier in his career, he worked on investment projects at the International Finance Corporation and as a corporate finance consultant at PwC.

Madis is helping strengthen KrattWorks' financial and governance foundations as we prepare for our next phase of growth — exactly the kind of discipline a force multiplier needs behind it.

In Madis's own words: "I am excited about the opportunity to do my part to help an ambitious and fast-growing company achieve its goals, especially in the defence sector, which is of critical importance to both Estonia and Europe today.
