Kogemuslugu: automatiseeritud painutus TRUMPF TruBend Cell 5000.
Venten viis kliendi, ühe Baltikumi allhanketootja juures edukalt lõpule automatiseeritud painutuslahenduse TRUMPF TruBend Cell 5000 paigalduse.

Kliendi tagasiside:
„Siiani on see olnud parim kogemus kõigi masinate paigalduste seas, sõltumata tootjast. Väga professionaalne lähenemine ning iga päev oli selge ülevaade sellest, kas meeskond töötab veel objektil või on töö lõpetatud.“

Kliendi jaoks on üheks suurimaks eeliseks autonoomne tootmine öistes vahetustes. Süsteem võimaldab täielikult automaatselt toota korraga 5–6 erinevat tooteseeriat ilma operaatori kohalolekuta, parandades seadme kasutegurit ja vähendades sõltuvust käsitsitööst.

Paigaldatud lahendus sisaldas:
*130-tonnist painutuspinki
*6-teljelist tagapiirajat
*automaatset ToolMaster tööriistavahetussüsteemi
*14-meetrist roboti tööulatust
* ACB Laser nurgamõõtesüsteemi automaatseks nurga korrigeerimiseks
* intelligentset lehe tuvastust ja topeltlehe kontrolli

Lahenduse eelised:
Uute painutusprogrammide loomine võtab tavaliselt vaid 3–6 minutit detaili kohta, võimaldades kiireid ümberseadistusi ja paindlikku tootmisplaneerimist.
Robot tunneb automaatselt ära laserlõigatud detailid ning kontrollib, kas haaratud on üks või kaks lehte, aidates vähendada vigu ja parandada protsessi töökindlust.

🚀AI in manufacturing: the time to act is now.

The Baltic CNC Technical Educators Conference 2026, organized by Tallinna Tehnikakõrgkool, brought together CNC industry experts, educators, machine suppliers, and manufacturing professionals from across the Baltics.

At the conference, Tauno Pärn, Technology Engineer at Venten, presented AI-powered programming with Mastercam and shared practical examples of how AI is already transforming CNC programming today.

His key message was simple: act. Artificial intelligence is not perfect yet, but it is developing rapidly. Companies that postpone adoption may soon find that their competitors are already ahead.

The Mitutoyo Poland workshops, organized by Venten, focused on automation and digitalization in metrology. Participants explored how measurement processes can be automated, how measurement data can be collected, and how it can be used to improve production efficiency and quality.

During the conference, TTK University of Applied Sciences and Mitutoyo Poland also signed a cooperation agreement. As part of this collaboration, the university will implement Mitutoyo MeasurLink software, a Quick Image optical measuring system, and wireless-enabled measuring instruments that will significantly enhance its existing measurement capabilities.

Venten Technology Day live demonstrations focused mainly on machining 42CrMo4 steel, allowing participants to compare different tooling concepts and cutting parameters in real production conditions. From drilling and milling to heavy-duty turning operations.
The goal was to show how technology choices impact real-world results.

Throughout the Technology Day at Venten we demonstrated how different cutting tools, machining strategies, and machine technologies can significantly influence productivity, tool life, chip control, and overall manufacturing efficiency. Sometimes the same component can be produced in a completely different way – faster, more reliably, and at a lower cost.

"The labour shortage is not a temporary crisis – it is the new normal."

This message from Kersti Vannas (Instar EBC) captured the essence of yesterday's discussions at Lääne-Virumaa majanduskonverents 2026: kellele ja kellega me Lääne-Virumaad ehitame, that took place at Arvo Pärdile pühendatud muusikamaja Ukuaru.

Venten founder Toomas Tammer participated in the panel discussion "The reality of business – what kind of workforce should we expect by 2030?", where one message stood out clearly: automation is part of the solution, but not the whole solution.

Toomas offered a perspective that sparked discussion across the room:
"We are all part of society. The workforce of 2030 is being shaped today. As employers, educators and parents, we all influence the attitudes, work ethic and responsibility of the next generation. Sometimes it starts with small everyday choices – whether young people learn that earning money and responsibility go hand in hand."

In other words, solving labour shortages is not only about technology or education. It is also about the values and habits we help build long before a young person enters the workforce.

At Venten, we see every day that the future of manufacturing depends on two things: technology and people. While companies continue investing in automation, robotics and smart manufacturing solutions, investing in skills and continuous learning is equally important.

That is why Venten Academy organises internal training sessions every two weeks with trainers from around the world.
Through Venten Academy and our cooperation with Tallinn University of Applied Sciences, we organise CNC Level 4 training programmes and support both our own team and manufacturing professionals across the region.

While Venten is known for supplying CNC and sheet metal manufacturing technologies, we see our mission as much broader than delivering machines. We actively bring world-class knowledge, best practices and industry expertise to the region. In a small market where highly specialised manufacturing know-how is scarce, raising the competence of the entire ecosystem benefits everyone.

One thought repeated throughout the conference: young people do not come to work only for a salary, they come to grow.

Some other key takeaways from the conference:

• Finland's entrepreneurship village model gives children their first real work experience already in primary school through applications, salaries and practical responsibilities.

• Every generation is different, which means leaders need new skills and new approaches to connect with younger employees.

• When a young person takes the initiative and reaches out, businesses should make every effort to provide experience and exposure to working life.

• Communities matter. Many young people return to their hometowns because of quality of life, strong roots and a supportive local environment.

• Entrepreneurship is often romanticised, yet with freedom comes responsibility. Employment remains an important source of stability and security.

There was also encouraging news from the national level. The Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund is creating dedicated youth adviser roles to engage with young people in ways that better reflect their perspectives and expectations.

Future workforce is something we build together.

Meil on puudu üks ülimalt kriitiline ametnik – tööstuse asekantsler. Selles on veendunud nii Venteni asutaja Toomas Tammer kui ka kümned teised Eesti mõistes suurte eksportivate ettevõtete juhid.

Tööstuse asekantsler – eksportööride ja tööandjate suursaadik riigiaparaadis.

Töötlev tööstus annab juba täna tööd enam kui 100 000 inimesele. Lõviosa toodangust läheb ekspordiks. Ometi puudub meil täna targa tööstuse eest seisev tippametnik, asekantsler. Ja esmapilgul võib-olla kummaliselgi moel on just sellest saanud Eesti targa tööstuse järgmise arenguhüppe oluline takistus.

Eesti tööstusettevõtjad kohe kindlasti ei oota riigilt raha – vastupidi, just nemad tööandjate ja maksumaksjatena peavad riiki suuresti üleval.

Kuid on hulk ettevõtluse arenguks kriitilisi asju, mida saab teha vaid riik.

Rahandusministeeriumi äsja avaldatud andmete kohaselt jääb asekantsleri palgatase 5000-6000 euro vahele. Kokku tähendab see maksumaksjale aastast kulu ligi 97 000 eurot. Koos tegevuskuludega umbes 125 000 eurot aastas.

Töötleva tööstuse eksport oli statistikaameti andmetel 2025. aastal üle 10 miljardi euro. Motiveeritud ja sihipärase tööga saab tööstuse asekantsler üsna kiiresti ära klaarida kitsaskohti ja aidata luua tööstusele paremat keskkonda, mis kasvataks eksporti märgatavalt. Kuid võtkem väga konservatiivseks hinnanguks vaid 1% aastas.

Seega ka väga konservatiivse hinnangu järgi ületaks vahetud tulud maksumaksjale kulusid 88-kordselt.
