April was a month of major infrastructure progress at Ventus Energy, with key advancements in our wind projects and capacity expansion efforts that strengthen long-term asset value.

Highlights:
1️⃣ Lithuania Wind Park – Transformer foundations and site preparation were completed, moving the project closer to grid connection.
2️⃣ PH Jugla expansion – A new capacity increase was secured, boosting efficiency and long-term revenue potential.
3️⃣ Platform update – From May 8, all newly launched Ventus Energy projects will feature adjusted interest rates.

March was a strong month of ex*****on at Ventus Energy, focused on infrastructure upgrades, expanding solar operations, and advancing innovative energy-use models that improve efficiency and flexibility.

Highlights:

1️⃣ PH Jugla upgrade completed: The 10 MW electrode boiler is now operational, increasing capacity to 50.9 MW and improving efficiency during low electricity price periods.

2️⃣ Solar & grid balancing expansion: Panel installation progressed at Valga, while two solar parks began providing grid balancing services.

3️⃣ Heat & Mining pilot launched: The 0.5 MW system in Smiltene was commissioned, combining data operations, grid balancing, and waste heat recovery in one flexible model.

🔥 Ventus Energy at UN:BLOCK 2026: Setting a New Standard!

Our Digital Infrastructure team has wrapped up an incredible experience at the UN:BLOCK 2026 conference! It was a powerhouse of ideas, networking, and forward-thinking energy.

At the event we were proud to present our Heat&Mining solution already set in PH Smiltene, which we believe is the New Standard in Heat & Mining infrastructure. 🚀

Highlights from the stage:
One of Ventus owners, energy industry expert Jānis Timma, took part in a truly unique panel discussion: "How bitcoin mining can heat the world." While it might seem "untraditional" for the crypto world, this conversation highlighted exactly where the future is headed - the convergence of two seemingly unrelated industries: heat production and crypto mining. 💡

It’s proof that the world around us is changing, and Ventus Energy is at the forefront of connecting sustainability with digital innovation. 🌍⚡️

February may be the shortest month, but it was packed with progress at Ventus Energy - from activating market operations to expanding lender rewards and advancing key infrastructure projects.

Highlights:

1️⃣ Solar & BESS Park Kuldīga – The project entered the Nord Pool day-ahead electricity market and is now actively trading power.

2️⃣ Wind turbine infrastructure – Transformer manufacturing and site preparation progressed, moving the project toward installation in March.

3️⃣ Loyalty Program expansion – Two new premium tiers introduced: Powerhouse (+1.25%) and Nuclear (+1.50%) for larger lender portfolios.

1️⃣ FCR permit received – Ventus Energy became the first private electricity producer in Latvia to receive an FCR permit for a BESS facility, with operations launched at the Jelgava PV plants.
2️⃣ Hybrid Energy Park Ventspils – A large-scale hybrid project advanced, supported by existing grid infrastructure and permitted land for energy use.
3️⃣ Record performance at PH Jugla – The powerhouse delivered its strongest month ever, driven by high demand and efficient operations.

October marked the start of the heating season across the Baltics. Ventus Energy also advanced its growth with the 17 MW Wind Park (Phase 1) in Lithuania and the Solar & BESS Park in Kuldīga.

1. Heating Season – Jugla and Dambis resumed operations, producing 10,193 MWh.

2. Wind Park (Phase 1) – Two turbines commissioned in Lithuania.

3. Solar & BESS Kuldīga – 2.66 MW solar and 2.42 MW storage facility launched.
