Most manufacturers don't have a quality problem.
They have a visibility problem.
Defects get caught too late. Operators don't have a standardized way to flag issues. Root causes stay buried in spreadsheets — or never get logged at all.
What it should look like?
→ Operators log quality checks at the machine — not on paper, not after the shift
→ Every defect is tagged with a product, operator, machine, and time stamp
→ Managers see trends as they form, not after the damage is done
→ Corrective actions are traceable and repeatable
Does GlobalReader "do" that? Absolutely. It's kind of built in.
We invite you to follow us on Youtube where we'll discuss The Cost of Quality next. Also see the 1st episode of why GlobalReader was founded.
