-With a forward-thinking engineering vision and carefully planned investments, Al-Mohandes International (AMI) was founded in 1983 to become one of Egypt's and the region’s leading manufacturers of power generating sets.
-The company was established by Dr. Eng. Mona Hassan as Managing Director, serving with Eng. It launched its operations from its headquarters in Cairo and quickly earned a strong
reputation as a trusted, multi-activity engineering contractor.

1994:
An investment of $780,000 was made to establish a modern factory in 6th of October City on a 5,000 square meter area, aimed at enhancing production capabilities. January 1996:
Production officially commenced at the new factory with an annual capacity of 500 units and generation capabilities of up to 800 kVA. January 29, 1998:
Successfully obtained the ISO 9001 international quality certification, affirming the company's commitment to the highest quality standards across all operations.
1999:
An additional factory was established on the same site, expanding the production capacity to 2,500 kVA and doubling the annual output to 1,000 standard units.
2001:
New investments were made in metal processing using advanced NC-controlled machinery, increasing added value through the manufacturing of canopies, trailers, fuel tanks, exhaust silencers, shelters, and other auxiliary products. July 13, 2006:
Renewal of the quality certification according to ISO 9001:2000 standards, reflecting continuous adherence to global quality management systems.
-AMI operates on a teamwork principle, proudly maintaining a carefully selected, permanent workforce of around 300 employees, including 72 qualified engineers.
