This talk will cover the potential areas for focus in upgrading our systems for resiliency as well as some of the recent trends and technology changes needed for increasing our ability to maintain resiliency in the built environment. The topics covered will range from individual building systems up through the building, regional and societal levels.

A Great Technical Evening with ASHRAE Alexandria Chapter

As part of our ongoing commitment to advancing professional development and promoting the latest engineering practices in the HVAC industry, **ASHRAE Alexandria Chapter**, in collaboration with the Alexandria Engineers Syndicate, hosted a technical seminar entitled:

""HVAC Constant & Variable Speed Pumps, Expansion Tanks Locations, Distribution Systems, Chiller Arrangements & Pumps Staging"

The seminar was presented by
🎙Eng. Ahmed Abdel Ghany, ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer, Chairman of Allied Consultants, who delivered an insightful session covering key aspects of hydronic HVAC systems. The presentation highlighted best engineering practices for pump selection, expansion tank placement, chilled water distribution systems, chiller arrangements, and pump staging strategies to achieve higher system efficiency and reliability.

The event featured engaging technical discussions and interactive Q&A sessions, where attendees exchanged practical experiences and explored real-world engineering challenges faced in HVAC design and operation.
