عندما تؤمن بهدفك وما تفعله، يصبح الصعب سهلا والمستحيل ممكنا..
بدأت الحكاية عام 1985 عندما اجتمع عدد قليل من العائلات القبطية في شمال ولاية تكساس الأمريكية بهدف تأسيس كنيسة تخدمهم وقد نجحوا في ذلك. لكن مع مرور الوقت ونمو عدد الأقباط في المنطقة، سرعان ما أصبح من الضروري إنشاء كنيسة جديدة أكبر تستوعب هذا الامتداد
وبالفعل في عام 2001 بدأ بناء الكنيسة الجديدة، لتحمل اسم الشهيد العظيم فيلوباتير مرقوريوس أبي سيفين في مدينة "ريتشاردسون"، لتكون امتدادًا للإيمان الذي عبر القارات
لم تكن الرحلة سهلة.. حيث ظهرت تحديات إنشائية ومالية أخّرت اكتمال الحلم، لكن الإيمان بالفكرة استمر، وفي عام 2009 عادت الأعمال من جديد، ليكتمل المشروع في صيف 2010، حيث احتفلت الكنيسة بتدشينها وإقامة أول قداس إلهي بحضور نيافة الأنبا يوسف، وسط فرحة مئات الأسر التي وجدت أخيرًا بيتًا روحيًا يجمعها
ومع كل هذا النمو، كان لا بد أن تعكس تفاصيل المكان هذه القصة الملهمة،
وهنا أتى دورنا في ديسنت هوم، حيث تشرفنا بتنفيذ الأعمال الخشبية بالكنيسة، لننقل روح الفن القبطي الأصيل إلى قلب المجتمع الأمريكي المعاصر، من خلال تصميمات مدروسة وتنفيذ دقيق يراعي هوية المكان وطبيعته.
When you truly believe in your purpose, the difficult becomes easier… and the impossible becomes possible.
The story began in 1985, when a small group of Coptic families in North Texas came together to build a church that would serve them. As the community grew, so did the need for a larger spiritual home.
In 2001, the journey continued with the construction of St. Philopateer Coptic Orthodox Church of Dallas, named after the great martyr St. Philopateer Mercurius (Abu Sefein).
The path wasn’t easy—construction and financial challenges delayed the vision—but faith endured. In 2009, work resumed, and by the summer of 2010, the church was finally completed and consecrated, welcoming hundreds of families into their new home.
With such a journey, every detail had to reflect the story.
