Not every air conditioning problem stems from the unit itself… Sometimes it’s how you operate it that makes the difference.
In our daily use of air conditioning, we do a few things without realizing they might affect the system’s performance and efficiency.
Some of the most common mistakes:
▪️ Setting the temperature too low
A lower temperature doesn’t mean the room cools faster.
▪️ Neglecting to clean the filters
Dust buildup affects airflow and the unit’s performance.
▪️ Running the AC with doors or windows open
This puts unnecessary strain on the system.
▪️ Ignoring any unusual noises or vibrations
Any noticeable change in the unit’s performance needs to be investigated.
▪️ Choosing a capacity that’s not suitable for the space.
This problem can start right from the beginning—during the load calculation and unit selection phase.
A good air conditioner isn’t just a good unit… how you choose and operate it makes all the difference.
