When it comes to getting natural light into your home, who doesn’t love a good skylight? Compared to glass ceilings, they’re a cost effective way to get light penetrating all through your home. What’s more, as a permanent fixture, they can even help increase the price of your home.

What are skylights and roof windows?
Skylights and roof windows are glazed openings on a pitched or flat roof designed to provide more light to the home. As well as allowing natural light into your home, they can also allow fresh air to enter if they are openable or vented. As with conventional windows.

BADRA offers - Conventional type, structural glazing type and skylights supported on space frames.
There are a wide range of shapes and forms to choose from depending on the shape of the opening to be.

Few of the various forms possible for skylights .

⚫️ CONVENTIONAL TYPE
Simple skylight with visible frames on the external side
This type of skylight makes use of mullions and transoms and the glass used (usually laminated double glass units) are secured into position with pressure plates and cover caps.A wide range of shapes are possible with this system also.

Double glass units, with the internal glass laminated are used for our skylights - they control the amount of heat that enters the interior.
