The Center of Mobility Research (CMOR) at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, is currently seeking two undergraduate research volunteers to join our growing team!

Open Positions:

Video Analytics Research Assistant

* Background: Computer Science (Ain Shams CS preferred)

* Skills: Strong Python programming, video analytics experience using AI is an asset

* Role: Assist in collecting video data, developing, and analyzing computer vision-based tools for transportation-based research.

Transportation Research Assistant

* Background: Utilities and Infrastructure Department.

• Skills: good English writing skills, excellent understanding of transportation planning and traffic engineering concepts, a Python background is an asset.

* Role: Focus on literature review, video data collection and interpretation, and contributing to research publications.

Requirements for Both Roles:

• Priority is for senior students with a minimum GPA: B+

* Ability to commit to weekly meetings and collaborate in a team-based environment
