Robotics Club is the place where you don't only apply what you learn in class in a more expanded way, but also you will learn what is not in the curriculum . You learn simple engineering skills and learn more about combining mechanical and electronic tools to form simple yet amazing robots. It is the best place to unleash your ideas and share with other people your passion. Yes it is the geeks and nerds club in the university but other people are welcome to join too :p :p ! Join us for an enlightening webinar featuring Dr. Ahmed Soliman.

Dr. Ahmed Soliman (M.S. and Ph.D., Caltech) is a scientist and technologist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Caltech. His PhD work on the BICEP Array telescope at the South Pole has earned accolades including the US Antarctica Service Medal and the Caltech Everhart Distinguished Lecture honor. He contributed to the Roman Coronagraph Instrument (CGI) and received two JPL-NASA achievement awards, and co-led various aircraft, balloon, and space projects. He has been awarded Caltech Keck Institute for Space Studies (KISS) study fund this year with Nobel Laureates and serves as a Co-I on advanced innovative concepts projects with NASA-JPL focused on space and lunar exploration. He is actively involved with Caltech’s Observational Cosmology group, JPL’s Microwave Science Instrument and High Contrast Imaging teams, as well as the BICEP/Keck and CMB-S4 collaborations.
