قبل ما تشتري أي system جديد لإدارة الـdowntime، اسأل نفسك سؤال واحد:

كيف تقيس الـdowntime حاليًا؟

متى يبدأ احتساب وقت التوقف؟

ما الذي يُصنّف فعليًا كـdowntime؟

من المسؤول عن تسجيل السبب؟

وهل يتم احتساب الـshort stops أم لا؟

وعندما تنتهي الوردية…

هل يسجل الجميع نفس الـevent بالطريقة نفسها؟
إذا لم تكن هذه الإجابات واضحة وموحّدة، فإن إضافة tool جديدة لن تحل المشكلة وحدها.

يجب أولًا أن تفهم كيف يتم قياس المشكلة نفسها.

لأن القرارات الجيدة تبدأ من تعريف واضح ودقيق للمشكلة.

كيف يتم تسجيل الـdowntime حاليًا في مصنعكم؟

Before you buy another system to manage downtime, answer one question:

How are you measuring it today?

When does the clock start?

What actually counts as downtime?

Who records the reason?

What happens with short stops?

And when the shift ends, does everyone report the same event the same way?

If those answers aren't consistent, adding another tool won't automatically fix the problem.

You need to understand the measurement first.

Good decisions start with a clear definition of the problem.

وفي الوقت نفسه، لا أحد يثق به بنسبة 100%.

شخص يحدّثه في نهاية الوردية.
وشخص آخر يعدّل رقمًا.
ثم تُرسل نسخة جديدة عبر البريد الإلكتروني.

وعندما يحين وقت اتخاذ قرار مهم، يظهر السؤال:

"أي نسخة هي الـlatest؟"

المشكلة هنا ليست في Excel نفسه.

المشكلة في المعلومات.

عندما تعتمد القرارات التشغيلية على بيانات يتم جمعها ونسخها وتحديثها يدويًا، تصبح موثوقية البيانات نفسها جزءًا من التحدي.

لذلك، السؤال ليس:

هل الـspreadsheet يعمل أم لا؟

السؤال الحقيقي هو:

هل يمكنك الوثوق بالمعلومات عندما تحتاج إلى اتخاذ قرار؟

هل يوجد في مصنعك ملف Excel من هذا النوع؟

There’s an Excel file in almost every factory that everyone depends on…

and nobody completely trusts.

Someone updates it at the end of the shift.
Someone else changes a number.
Another version gets emailed around.

Then, when a decision has to be made:

“Which file is the latest one?”

وفي ماكينات تشتغل بالساعات بشكل طبيعي جدًا…
وفجأة تتوقف.

المشغل يراجعها.
فريق الصيانة يفحصها.
وترجع تشتغل.

مفيش عطل واضح.
مفيش سبب ثابت.
وبعد فترة… تحصل المشكلة من جديد.

وده اللي بيخلي Intermittent Faults من أصعب المشاكل في خطوط الإنتاج.

لأن التحدي مش دايمًا في إصلاح الماكينة.

أحيانًا التحدي الحقيقي هو إنك تعرف إيه الـpattern اللي بيظهر قبل التوقف.
