White sand or silica sand is used in many chemical industries, such as sodium silicate, the manufacture of detergents, modern building materials, and silicon carbide, because it is a refractory material. It is used in the manufacture of dyes and sulfate resistance. It is used in drying to get rid of moisture, as it is placed inside small square bags called (silica bags) desiccant. It is also used as an anti-caking substance in the manufacture of industrial powders and as a carrier for liquids and in the feed industry and the manufacture of agricultural chemicals and rubber Silicone, insulation materials, adhesives, printing inks, spinning, weaving, detergent manufacturing, disinfection of metal surfaces, many chemical commodities.

تدخل الرمال البيضاء او رمال السيليكا في العديد من الصنعات الكيمائية مثل سيليكات الصوديوم و صناعه المنظفات ومواد البناء الحديث وكربيد السيلكون وذألك لكونها ماده مقامه للحراره . وتستخدم في صناعه الصباغ و مقاومه الكبريتات و تستخدم في التجفيف التخلص من الرطوبة حيث يتم وضعها داخل اكياس مربعه صغيره الحجم تسمي (بأكياس السيليكا) المجففة وتستخدم أيضا كماده مضاضه للتكتل في صناعه المساحيق الصناعية و كماده حامله للسوائل وفي صناعه الاعلاف وصناعه المواد الكيمائية الزراعيه و مطاط السيلكون ومواد العزل والمواد اللاصقة واحبار الطباعة والغزل والنسيج وصناعه المنظفات وتطهير الاسطح المعدنية العديد من السلع الكيمائية .
