Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Job Summary:
Responsible for providing technical support to employees, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, engineering applications, and office equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.
- Support Windows, Microsoft Office, email, and engineering applications such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and shared folders.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi and Internet.
- Monitor IT equipment, software licenses, and backup operations.
- Maintain IT inventory and document support requests.
- Coordinate with vendors and escalate complex technical issues when required.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
- Experience supporting engineering software and large-format printers is preferred.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time-management skills.

• Software & BIM License Management: Administer, update, and troubleshoot software deployments across the company, including AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft 365, and specialized engineering design applications.
• Network & Server Administration: Assist in managing local physical and cloud servers, Active Directory, network infrastructure, data backups, and security protocols.
• Remote Team Support: Provide quick, efficient technical support for on-site staff and remote employees to ensure uninterrupted workflows.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve system bugs, network drops, hardware failures, and user technical tickets.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on IT support and systems administration experience, ideally within an engineering, architectural, or technical consultancy background.
• Technical Proficiency:
o Solid understanding of Windows OS, server management, and network security.
o Experience supporting design software licensing and deployments (Autodesk/Revit/CAD) is a strong plus.
o Familiarity with VPN setup, remote desktop solutions, and cloud environments.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a service-oriented mindset.
• Language: Fluent in Arabic; professional proficiency in English.
