Proud Moment for Ain Shams University at ISWTC 2025 & WESC – Nantes, France 🇫🇷
ASU WIND Team from Ain Shams University proudly represented Egypt at the International Small Wind Turbine Contest (ISWTC 2025) and the Wind Energy Science Conference (WESC) in Nantes. The team showcased a 1 kW horizontal-axis wind turbine — fully designed and manufactured locally by our engineering students, including custom-built blades, hub, nacelle, tower, generator, yaw/pitch controls, and electrical systems.
Performance Highlight:
• 800 W output at 12 m/s wind speed
The event offered hands-on experience and a global platform to present innovative, homegrown clean energy solutions.
We thank Nantes Université, the judging committee, fellow competitors, our mentors at Ain Shams, and our generous sponsors.
