One question. Zero preparation.

"What made you happiest today?"

They said the friends. The building. The moment it finally worked. Barely anyone said the prize.

A month of sharing this journey with you, and this is where we'll leave it. Onto what's next. โค๏ธ

Different schools. Different backgrounds. National and international. One room, one drive. ๐ŸŒ

On the first day of STEAMPathways AlphaVate, these students didn't arrive as equals on paper, they arrived from completely different systems and stories. By the end, none of that mattered. Same curiosity. Same learning. Same shot.

Never underestimate a single one of them.

See where their journey took them, all the way to the finals. Next up. ๐Ÿ‘€

Meet Our future leader Saad Eldin

From day one in April to the final in June, something shifted in them.

In this student's own words: what he learned, why he now wants to build solutions for kids and communities in underserved countries, and the one lesson he'll carry longest, from Dr. Jack, that every challenge is easier to face with a smile and a little flexibility.

This is what we mean when we say it was never about the trophy.

Tag someone who believes young people can change things. ๐Ÿ‘‡

A great idea means nothing if you can't make people care about it. ๐ŸŽค
Our mentor Peter Guindy from Spacetoon on what he saw in these students, and why storytelling and presentation changed the way they pitched.
Idea plus delivery. That's the whole game.

We handed these students to people who assess talent for a living. Then asked them to be honest. ๐ŸŽ“
Our mentor Amgad Hassan a holder of a European MSc degree in Mechatronics on the level of thinking he saw, and what surprised him most about how young they were.

When the experts are this convinced, it's worth paying attention.

Next: Mentor who trained them on thier presntation and branding. ๐Ÿ‘€

Where do you put 15 teams with big ideas? Somewhere that takes them seriously. ๐Ÿ›
A walk through SUTech Elsewedy University, our home for AlphaVate 2026. Real labs. Real halls. A real university, not a classroom pretending to be one.
The room you put a student in changes how they show up. These kids walked in and stood taller.
Next: the people who trained them, in their own words.

You could see the exact second they realised they'd won.

Meet Synapse , our STEAMPathways AlphaVate 2026 first-place team. They turned an idea about clean water into a working system: rainwater harvesting running on AI-driven irrigation. Then defended it on stage, in front of a tough panel, and out-built a room full of talented teams to take it.

The 30,000 EGP is real. But the thing we'll remember is the belief on their faces.

This is what happens when you hand students a real problem, and get out of their way.

Share this with someone who still underestimates what young people can build.

Some partnerships happen because of one person who believes first.
For us, that was Medhat, Head of Education at who championed this collaboration from the very beginning and helped bring it to life. In this reel, she shares what she saw in our students and why Spacetoon stood behind AlphaVate.

When someone who shapes education for a living backs young talent this fully, it means everything.
Thank you, RAneem this is only the start of what we'll build together.

A trophy fades. The skill doesn't.
