Our UAV Team proudly achieved a historic achievement by participating in the Ninth Edition of the International Competition of the Military Technical College (ICMTC 2025) for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Lt. General Ibrahim Salim Award, Fixed-Wing Category. Participating with two UAVs, our team secured Second and Sixth places among 16 teams, including internationally well-known teams. This remarkable result is considered the highest ranking ever achieved by a team from the Academy.
This accomplishment would not have been possible without the invaluable support of Major General, Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, and Dr. Yasser Galal, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Sheraton Campus, whose continuous efforts were dedicated to providing opportunities for future generations. We would also like to express our gratitude to Dr. Ahmed Abdel Latif, our Academic Advisor, for his constant support, guidance, and encouragement throughout this journey. We also acknowledge the valuable support of Dr. **Sameh Shaaban**, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, and Dr. **Hady El-Helw**, Dean of Student Affairs, for their continuous encouragement.
This support reflects the Academy’s vision across various fields of technology and innovation, and shows its commitment to encouraging creativity, scientific research, and competing at the global level.

حقق فريق UAV إنجازاً تاريخياً بمشاركته في المسابقة الدولية التاسعة للكلية الفنية العسكرية (جائزة الفريق/ إبراهيم سليم) لفئة الطائرات المسيرة ذاتية القيادة ذات الجناحين. شارك الفريق بطائرتين، وحصد المركزين الثاني والسادس من بين 16 فريقاً، من بينهم فرق دولية بارزة، في إنجاز يُعد أعلى مركز تحققه الأكاديمية عبر تاريخها.
هذا الإنجاز لم يكن ليتم دون الدعم الكبير من سيادة اللواء والأستاذ الدكتور إسماعيل عبد الغفار إسماعيل فرج، رئيس الأكاديمية، وعميد كلية الهندسة لفرع شيراتون الدكتور ياسر جلال، وسعيهما المستمر لمنح الفرص للأجيال القادمة. كما يخص الفريق الشكر والتقدير للدكتور أحمد عبد اللطيف، المرشد الأكاديمي والمسؤول عن الأسرة، لدعمه وإرشاده المتواصل طوال الرحلة. كما يخص الفريق التقدير للدكتور *سامح شعبان*، رئيس قسم الهندسة الميكانيكية، والدكتور *هادي الحلو*، عميد شؤون الطلاب، على دعمهم وتشجيعهم المستمر.
يعكس هذا الدعم رؤية الأكاديمية في مختلف مجالات التكنولوجيا والإبداع، ويؤكد حرصها على تشجيع الابتكار والبحث العلمي، ومنافستها على المستوى العالمي.
