Before signing the cooperation protocol to establish Egypt’s first industrial zone powered entirely by an independent solar microgrid in Abu Zenima, alongside upcoming projects across South Sinai, we spent time getting to know the place we would be building alongside.

Beyond the landscapes and locations, it was the people, their stories, and the character of each community that stayed with us. Every stop revealed a different side of South Sinai: its resilience, its warmth, and its unique spirit.

كرم القابضة تحصل على أمر إسناد لتشغيل أول منطقة صناعية في مصر بمنظومة طاقة شمسية مستقلة.

سعدنا بتوقيع بروتوكول تعاون مع محافظة جنوب سيناء لإنشاء أول محطة لإنتاج وتوزيع الكهرباء من الطاقة الشمسية بالمنطقة الصناعية في أبو زنيمة، كما تسلمنا أمر الإسناد الرسمي لبدء التنفيذ.

يمثل هذا المشروع بداية لإحياء المنطقة الصناعية في أبو زنيمة، التي واجهت تحديات منذ عام 2017 بسبب غياب البنية الأساسية للطاقة. ومن خلال توفير مصدر طاقة مستدام، سيسهم المشروع في خفض تكاليف الطاقة للمصانع بنسبة تصل إلى 30%، بما يعزز تنافسية المنطقة، ويفتح المجال أمام استثمارات جديدة، ويسهم في خلق فرص تنموية لأبناء جنوب سيناء.

وخلال المؤتمر، استعرضنا أيضًا عددًا من المبادرات التنموية التي نطمح إلى تنفيذها بالشراكة مع المحافظة، من بينها حلول شحن المركبات الكهربائية، ومشروعات لإحياء المواقع ذات القيمة التاريخية والثقافية، في إطار رؤية مشتركة تدعم التنمية المستدامة في جنوب سيناء.

نؤمن أن الطاقة ليست مجرد بنية تحتية، بل هي نقطة البداية التي تفتح الباب للنمو والاستثمار والتنمية. ونتطلع لأن يكون هذا المشروع خطوة أولى في رحلة تصنع أثرًا مستدامًا للمجتمعات التي نعمل معها.
