Proud to mark the successful closing of The Green Transition II (TGT II) in collaboration with You Think Green YTG, an impactful initiative dedicated to supporting sustainable development, empowering local communities, and advancing environmental awareness across the Western Desert and surrounding operational areas in Egypt. 🌱
Over the course of the project, TGT II worked closely with local farmers, youth, and community members to promote sustainable agricultural practices, enhance environmental responsibility, and support green economic opportunities. Through a series of training programs, awareness sessions, and community-based activities, the initiative reached more than 1,500 students, helping strengthen local capacities and encouraging more resilient and sustainable livelihoods.
The project also delivered measurable environmental and economic impact, including a 98% reduction in carbon footprint, a 100% increase in production output, and annual energy savings of approximately 54,000 EGP, demonstrating the tangible benefits of sustainable practices for local communities and businesses.
The closing event celebrated the project’s achievements, inspiring success stories, and the collective efforts of all partners and participants who contributed to creating meaningful and lasting impact within the targeted communities.
