♻️ Casablanca and Tangier Residents — We Need Your input for a greener city

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), in collaboration with Chatham House, Circle Economy, and the European Investment Bank (EIB), is implementing the “Switch2CE Project” — a project that aims to promote circular economy practices and reduce reliance on virgin plastics.

As part of this effort, we’re conducting a short survey to understand how residents in Casablanca and Tangier consume and dispose of plastic packaging/PET (such as bottles and packaging). The insights collected will help identify opportunities to reuse and recycle PET materials more effectively, paving the way for cleaner cities and more sustainable waste management systems.

لكل طن من المخلفات الصلبة البلدية يتم معالجته عبر تقنيات تحويل المخلفات إلى طاقة يمكن أن يساهم في تجنب ما يصل إلى 4 طن من انبعاثات ثاني أكسيد الكربون المكافئ.
تواجه معظم المدن تحديات كبيرة في إدارة المخلفات الصلبة البلدية والصناعية، في ظل الحاجة إلى حلول مستدامة تقلّل من التأثيرات البيئية وتدعم أمن الطاقة. ومن بين التقنيات الواعدة التي يجري التوسع في تطبيقها محليًا وعالميًا، تأتي تقنيات تحويل المخلفات إلى طاقة كأحد أهم مسارات الاقتصاد الدائري.
