Prof. Awad holds a B.Sc. & M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Ain Shams University and a Ph.D. in Mechatronics from the University of Leeds, UK. He also served as a research fellow at the Institute of Design, Robotics and Optimisation (IDRO), University of Leeds. With a rich background in robotics, autonomous underwater vehicles, and biomechatronics, he now leads groundbreaking research in robotic systems for healthcare and industry.
