🌍 The energy transition is advancing - but the path ahead demands even greater speed and coordination.

Towards the end of last year, DNV released its Energy Transition Outlook 2025, offering a clear view of how the global energy system is evolving. The findings reinforce both the momentum we’re seeing and the scale of the work still ahead.

📖 Key insights from the report:

➡️ The long‑term shift from an 80/20 fossil/non‑fossil energy mix toward 50/50 by 2050 remains on track.

➡️ The forecast now extends to 2060, reflecting the continued transformation of the energy system beyond mid‑century.

➡️ Solar and wind are exepected to make up 32% of global power by 2030

At @[urn:li:organization:264473:GreenPowerMonitor, a DNV company] we see these trends every day through the lens of data.

Transmission infrastructure and are becoming foundational pillars of the system. And with geopolitical and market shifts reshaping priorities, collaboration across regions and sectors is more critical than ever.

We’re proud to contribute to this transition - helping customers operate more efficiently, integrate more renewables, and build the resilient energy systems needed.
