Por desgracia, esto sigue siendo algo demasiado común.

Cajas demasiado pequeñas, conexiones incorrectas, cables sin identificación adecuada y empalmes sueltos o mal ejecutados.

La electricidad no es un sitio donde valga “más o menos” o “lo que tenía a mano”. Una mala instalación puede provocar averías, sobrecalentamientos e incluso incendios.

Cada conductor tiene su función, su sección y su normativa. Hacerlo correctamente importa. 👌

Sadly this is still far too common.

Undersized junction boxes, incorrect connections, poorly identified conductors and loose or badly made joints.

Electrical work is not something that should be done with “whatever cable was available” or “that’ll do”. Poor installations can lead to faults, overheating and even fire risks.

Every conductor has its purpose, sizing and regulation. Doing it properly matters.

Primer trabajo del día en Castril… sin dormir, pero el trabajo no espera.

Programación de inversor solar mediante interfaz MK3 para control automático del generador.
Se ha añadido un “assistant” al sistema Victron para gestionar el arranque y la parada del generador en función del estado real de las baterías — algo esencial en sistemas antiguos donde no se pueden utilizar parámetros estándar.

Ajuste fino de voltajes, tiempos de absorción y retardos para evitar ciclos innecesarios y proteger la instalación.

Sistema en proceso de mejora progresiva:
Nuevo inversor/cargador Victron MultiPlus GX
Nuevo generador diésel Hyundai
Optimización completa del sistema existente

Trabajo técnico… no solo instalación.

Después rumbo a Campotéjar para recoger material…
Ahora en casa.

First job of the day in Castril… no sleep, but the work doesn’t wait.

Solar inverter programmed using the MK3 interface for automatic generator control.
An assistant was added to the Victron system to manage generator start and stop based on the real condition of the batteries — essential on older systems where standard parameters don’t work.

Fine tuning of voltage thresholds, absorption times, and delays to prevent unnecessary cycling and protect the installation.

System currently undergoing a progressive upgrade:
New Victron MultiPlus GX inverter/charger
New Hyundai diesel generator
Full optimisation of the existing system

Technical work… not just installation.

Then off to Campotéjar to collect materials…
Now back home.
Time for a siesta? I think so.
