Twenty years of working together to strengthen Spain’s superyacht sector. Last week in Barcelona, AEBRE paid tribute to Diego Colón de Carvajal and José García Aubert, who were appointed Presidents of Honour in recognition of their contribution to the association since its foundation.
AEBRE is the Spanish association representing companies in the recreational yacht sector. Over the past two decades, it has worked with public administrations to improve the regulatory and business environment for superyachts in Spain. This work has contributed to the growth of a sector that generates activity across marinas, shipyards, refit companies and the wider marine industry.
The event was also an opportunity to look back at the progress made over these 20 years and recognise the people who helped drive it from the beginning.
Port Denia was represented in Barcelona by our General Manager, Albert Morell, joining fellow members of the industry in celebrating this milestone.
