Innovating in a saturated market: the birth of BPS Premium
In highly competitive markets, true innovation is not about adding complexity, but about solving small everyday problems faced by professionals.
This philosophy is behind BPS Premium, the new evolution of the system developed by Bossauto.
The project includes functional and design improvements created to make painters’ daily work easier, more comfortable and more precise.
One of the main innovations is the new flexible cup with an integrated tab that makes opening the cup easier, safer and more convenient. Unlike traditional opening methods, professionals no longer have to struggle to remove the lid when the cup is filled with paint, reducing the risk of spills and making the process quick and effortless. The Paint Cup System also features a dual-colour black-and-white contrast scale, ensuring that one of the scales remains clearly visible regardless of the colour of the paint inside the cup.
"We wanted to create a useful, differentiated product with real value for professionals. In a market under constant price pressure, differentiation must come from functionality and quality," explains Manel Tarter, CEO of Bossauto.
The product is currently under patent protection process in Europe.
Another major innovation is the implementation of IML (In-Mould Labelling) technology, which integrates the design directly into the mould during manufacturing.
This process improves visual finishing, removes print relief and opens new graphic possibilities with up to seven colours and full-colour printing.
"The design and appearance of the product are also an important part of the brand experience. They help communicate the quality, care and confidence behind the product," adds Manel Tarter.
With BPS Premium, Bossauto reinforces a clear message: practical innovation remains the best way to generate real value inside the bodyshop.
