The project was born out of a desire to translate cuisine and identity into space.
Signature cuisine that celebrates the ingredients of his homeland, reinterpreted
with sophistication and an international perspective.
The design eschews the superfluous and excessive to create an intimate and engaging atmosphere,
as if Henrique himself were welcoming diners into his home.
The space does not seek to impose itself, but rather to welcome, representing the person and the country with the values that define them: humility, authenticity and excellence.
Portugal, a country that looks out to sea, references to the ocean are
inevitable.
The stucco in shades of navy blue and petrol blue adds
depth, texture and character, while the half-vaulted ceiling reinforces the feeling of refuge and continuity, made with master’s degree by .
The use of noble materials such as Estremoz marble, oak wood and other materials from the Portuguese land create a warm and balanced contrast with the predominant blue palette. There is nothing that has not been custom designed, all the walnut woodwork expertly crafted by .
A space that is not only inhabited but felt: Portugal, the sea and signature cuisine transformed into an experience.
In the central space, customers enjoy a wide view of the restaurant, where the kitchen is displayed without artifice: open and protagonist. The chefs’ work becomes a silent spectacle that invites you to observe the precision and respect for these professionals of flavour.
The walls display works by Portuguese artists, functioning as an
authentic gallery that showcases the country’s artistic excellence and reinforces the connection between gastronomy, culture and territory. Like the murals of and , and many more to come.
