KUBO UPDATE IS LIVE ☕️

The latest KUBO software update is now available.

📱 Kafmasino Lab v2.2.1
Available now on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

⚙️ KUBO Firmware v2.0.3
Improved temperature control during the first cold start.

We’ve also included several improvements across the latest releases, including better scale connectivity, reduced connection drops, improved logging, offline mode and improvements to the History and Taste Analyzer.

If you have a KUBO, please make sure your app is updated and then go to:

Settings → Machine Update

Once the machine reconnects, check Settings → Status to make sure your firmware is showing 2.0.3.

If the update fails, simply try it again.

And we’re not stopping here.

Firmware 2.0.5 is already in the works and should be ready in around 1–2 weeks.

And then… something special is coming in early September for everyone using a BOOKOO scale. 👀

With Batch 2 of KUBO almost fully packed and on its way to customers, it’s time to prepare for what’s next.

Next week we’ll begin assembling Batch 3, and this marks an exciting milestone for us: it’ll be the first batch available without pre-orders. That means you’ll be able to order your KUBO and we’ll ship it in less than a week.

KUBO Production Update #10

Another important milestone reached 🎉

We’ve started sending individual assembly updates to preorder customers as machines enter the assembly process.

If you receive your update, please take a moment to review your order details and make sure everything is correct, especially your shipping address and contact information.

As your machine progresses, you’ll receive additional updates when it moves through testing and when it is ready to be shipped.

It’s exciting to finally see individual units moving through the last stages before delivery.

A fantastic day in Manchester with Kev Lewis ☕

We spent some time talking about coffee, espresso machines, and the full story behind KUBO - from the first ideas to where the project is today.

We also left a KUBO machine with Kev for review, and we’re really excited for the upcoming videos, including a deep conversation about the project and a full hands-on look at the machine in use.

KUBO Production Update #9

Another big step forward for the project! 🎯
PCB testing is complete and everything is running smoothly.

We’re officially moving into the assembly phase, where the PCBs are being installed into the machines. Assembly continues in preorder and serial number order.

Full update has been sent by email to preorder customers.

We’re now entering the final phase.

Our first London Coffee Festival has been amazing so far.

The support, conversations and excitement around KUBO have made this experience really special for the whole team.

We’ve also prepared a selection of Kafmasino merch designed for the festival, along with a few surprises for the visitors.

KUBO Production Update #7

Another important milestone reached! 🚀

The factory has now fully completed PCB production, and the boards are moving into final preparation for shipment.

Once they arrive, we will immediately begin installation into the machines and proceed with final testing.

More updates coming as the process continues.
