KUBO Production Update #9

Another big step forward for the project! 🎯
PCB testing is complete and everything is running smoothly.

We’re officially moving into the assembly phase, where the PCBs are being installed into the machines. Assembly continues in preorder and serial number order.

Full update has been sent by email to preorder customers.

Our first London Coffee Festival has been amazing so far.

The support, conversations and excitement around KUBO have made this experience really special for the whole team.

We’ve also prepared a selection of Kafmasino merch designed for the festival, along with a few surprises for the visitors.

KUBO Production Update #7

Another important milestone reached! 🚀

The factory has now fully completed PCB production, and the boards are moving into final preparation for shipment.

Once they arrive, we will immediately begin installation into the machines and proceed with final testing.

More updates coming as the process continues.

We’re excited to share that Kafmasino will be attending London Coffee Festival 2026, 14–17 May 2026.

This will be our first event and the first time KUBO will be experienced live.

KUBO Production Update #6

Good news.

The factory has confirmed they now have all the components, including the SSR relays, and final PCB production has officially started.

Boards will be shipped to us in batches and as soon as they arrive, we’ll start installing them into the machines and preparing shipments.

Units will ship following preorder order and serial numbers as we complete them.

We’re now truly in the final stage.

KUBO Production Update #5

Quick transparent update on production progress.

The final PCB iteration has been validated and all machines are already assembled. We’re currently waiting for one last electronic component to complete the final installation before shipping can begin.

This may slightly shift our initial shipping estimate, but it ensures every unit ships fully validated.

Accessories and preorder gifts are already on their way, and regional plugs are shipping from the factory this week.

KUBO Production Update #4

This phase is about validation and locking things in.

The latest PCB iteration is already in our warehouse and testing has started. We’re running extended checks to confirm every change behaves exactly as intended before we move forward.

Packaging has been approved after reviewing the corrected samples, and final production is now underway.

On the software side, the update system is ready and we’re testing firmware updates while keeping full compatibility between ONE and KUBO.

Accessories are finished and waiting for logo engraving, and we’re just waiting for the US and UK plugs to arrive (EU versions are already in stock).

We’re also improving our infrastructure, including a dedicated ticketing system and a private user forum.

Step by step, everything is coming together.

KUBO Production Update #3

Everything is moving according to plan, with one small delay to be transparent about.

The latest PCB iteration was slightly delayed due to component import issues, as some parts are manufactured in the US. The boards are now very close to arriving at our warehouse.

In the meantime:
– Chassis and main components are ready
– Machine assembly has already started
– Accessories are in production and will arrive by the end of the month
– Packaging is ready, with only a few labels being finalized

On the software side, we’re preparing the KUBO update system, updating the app for both ONE and KUBO users, and adding new features.

KUBO Production Update #2

Quick update on the PCBs.

We’re currently waiting for the components to arrive at the PCB factory. Once they do, they’ll proceed with manufacturing the latest and final PCB iteration.

This revision includes:
– Internal buzzer for user alerts
– Improved USB connection to reliably charge the tablet
– Fixes for issues found during extended testing of the previous version
