Another one in for the chop. Cannondale has binned off its place in Connecticut. It’s moving over to the “west” coast, where the rappers, hip-hoppers and K-Nobs (that’s not K-pop) hang out.
On a serious note, it’s not nice when people lose their jobs, but it’s a competitive market out there. These companies need to adapt or they’ll get swallowed up by the Far Eastern juggernaut. Cervelo, Santa Cruz and Cannondale will all be run from the same PON office in California.
I think it’s only a matter of time before that becomes a sales office as well. PON will move everything they have over to one central facility; they’ll leave only what they can get away with.
