If you are taking your electric vehicle (EV), you don’t want to waste precious holiday time waiting around at slow charging points.

Here are 3 fast ways to top up your EV battery and keep your journey moving:
👉 Route plan around Ultra-Rapid hubs: Look for 150kW+ chargers along your motorway route. They can add up to 100 miles of range in just 10–15 minutes while you grab a coffee.
👉 Precondition your battery: Use your EV’s built-in sat-nav to guide you to the charger. Many cars will automatically warm up or cool down the battery on the way, allowing it to accept a maximum charge rate the moment you plug in.
👉 The 80% Rule: DC fast charging slows down dramatically after 80%. Save time by unplugging at 80% and hitting the road—it is much quicker to do two short fast charges than one long 100% charge!
