The area is vibrant yet far from brash, with plenty shops, markets, restaurants, clubs and bars to choose from. In addition to the Playa, there is also Mojacar Pueblo which is an old, beautiful, elevated mountain town displaying unique architecture. The buildings are traditionally white which look like sugar cubes on the hillside from afar. It is a truly wonderful spot to enjoy a stroll down the cobbled streets, visit the boutique shops or enjoy a glass of wine whilst absorbing the view. With the weather being good all year round it is also a great place for sporting activities such as golf, tennis and cycling and even skiing a couple of ours drive away in Sierra Nevada.
