🌍 These past weeks, part of the 3A BIOTECH team has been present at several key international industry events: AMEVEA International Seminar 2026 (Peru), PLMA Amsterdam and Interzoo 2026.

Different markets, different conversations… but a common direction: industries increasingly focused on safety, functionality, sustainability and natural solutions.

Interzoo 2026 offered valuable insights into the pet food sector, where quality, food safety, animal wellbeing and consumer-driven innovation continue to gain momentum.

At PLMA Amsterdam, we explored how retail and private label markets continue evolving towards products with greater differentiation, convenience and added value.

Meanwhile, at AMEVEA, we had the opportunity to gain first-hand insights into the main priorities shaping the animal nutrition and health sector in Latin America, particularly around food safety, production efficiency and innovation in animal feed and pet food.

Events like these help us better understand market dynamics, strengthen connections across the industry and continue developing solutions aligned with the real needs of a constantly evolving sector.

Last week, part of our team attended Vitafoods Europe, one of the leading international meeting points for the nutraceutical industry.

During the event, we had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the latest industry trends, identify new business opportunities, and analyse how the market is evolving towards increasingly functional, natural solutions supported by strong technical and scientific expertise.

It was also an excellent opportunity to connect with companies, partners, and professionals from around the world, exchanging knowledge and perspectives on the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the industry.

🌍 IFFO Members’ Meeting 2026 | Madrid, Spain

Last week, part of our team attended the IFFO Members’ Meeting 2026, one of the key international meeting points for the marine ingredients and aquafeed industry.

Over the course of the congress, we had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and insights with industry professionals, analyse the latest market trends and discuss some of the main challenges shaping the future of aquaculture and feed ingredients.

Events like IFFO continue to be an important space for building strategic connections, sharing expertise and strengthening collaboration across the industry.

A product may appear completely safe.
And yet, not be protected against Listeria.

What you see at the shelf is only the final stage.

In ready-to-eat foods, the risk of Listeria monocytogenes often begins much earlier.

✖️ During processing
✖️On equipment and surfaces
✖️ Through slicing and cross-contamination

And under the right conditions, it can persist.

Because cold is not control.

Listeria monocytogenes can grow under refrigeration, making it a critical risk throughout the product’s shelf life.

That’s why control cannot rely only on hygiene or temperature.

👉 It must be built into the product itself.

Controlling Listeria is not about reacting.
It’s about designing protection from the start.
