Últimamente, cuando diseño una cocina, hay tres claves que siempre están presentes.
La primera es apostar por cocinas abiertas. Me gusta pensar la cocina como un espacio que conecta, donde cocinar, conversar y vivir ocurren al mismo tiempo. Ya no es un lugar aislado, es el verdadero centro de la casa.
La segunda tiene que ver con esa continuidad visual entre espacios. Cuando la cocina se abre al salón, todo fluye mejor: la luz, los materiales y la forma en la que habitamos el espacio.
Y la tercera, para mí esencial, es la combinación de materiales. La mezcla entre cerámica y madera aporta equilibrio: la calidez de lo natural y la precisión del diseño conviven en armonía.
Porque al final, las tendencias no van solo de estética…
van de cómo queremos vivir los espacios.
Lately, when I design a kitchen, there are three keys that are always present.
The first is to bet on open kitchens. I like to think of the kitchen as a connecting space, where cooking, talking and living happen at the same time. It is no longer an isolated place, it is the real center of the house.
The second has to do with this visual continuity between spaces. When the kitchen opens to the living room, everything flows better: light, materials and the way we inhabit the space.
And the third, for me essential, is the combination of materials. The mix between ceramic and wood brings balance: the warmth of nature and the precision of design coexist in harmony.
Because in the end, trends are not just about aesthetics...
are about how we want to live the spaces.
