BEFORE and AFTER!
This is a recent job lock service on here in Palma.
We carried out a full strip-down and overhaul of all mast locks, replacing the springs throughout and swapping the old triplines for new colour-coded ones.
The jib lock in particular had seen significant wear after years of use across countless regattas, both inshore and offshore.
Sourcing the correct parts meant tracking down OEM drawings dating back to 2010, which was no easy task! Once identified, we were able to source the right components, fully service the lock, and give it an aesthetic refresh by re-spraying the clear coat on the carbon lock housing.
The result is a lock that not only looks better, but operates as intended and is ready for many more miles of racing.
