This week, we had the honor of participating in the 20th International Conference on Accelerator and Large Experimental Physics Control Systems (ICALEPCS 2025) in Chicago 🇺🇸
It was a great opportunity to connect with industry leaders and explore the latest developments in control systems; particularly those based on:
- EPICS (Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System), a set of open-source software tools used to develop distributed control systems for scientific instruments;
- FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Arrays), reconfigurable integrated circuits used for high-speed, low-latency hardware-level control;
- TANGO, a distributed control system framework focused on object-oriented device modeling;
- and PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), embedded industrial PC widely used for automation in harsh environments.
Thanks to the organizers for creating such a collaborative space to share innovations, knowledge exchange and strengthen the global control systems community.
