So a crazy few weeks tiling.
A leaking roof terrace gets a new membrane and re tile.

Eye catching geometric floor tile over flexible mat to a new extension

And this week in barmy temperatures, an existing concrete terrace tiled with compound mitres and falls that the client wanted to retain.

Treated timber frame extension build going well. Pressure treated studs and joists, insulated floor, SATE exterior insulation over OSB board, flexible base coat with mesh, top flexible colour coat.

Collapsed fosa séptica.
So a crazy emergency job. An old septic tank that was being used as a cistern for treated water from a bio septic tank collapsed. 40 tonnes of gravel, block work and Concrete later. All is well again. 😉

Beware the mighty false pepper tree, this is me not working during my Christmas break lol.
So the pepper tree from a neighbouring house had sent a huge 4" or 10cm root along my drainage pipe, distorting the pipe flat in places until it cracked. It then quickly filled the pipe with fine roots until it was eventually blocked.
They are extremely aggressive growers and will cause damage to pipes and house foundations. Beware where you plant them.
