The MED_Soil Research Group was created in 2008 and its members are soil scientists who belong to several institutions as the University of Sevilla, the University of Córdoba, the University Miguel Hernández, the University of Valencia, the Institute for Natural Resources and Agrobiology (Spain), the University of Algarve (Portugal), Geoscience Australia (Australia) or the Michoacan University San

Nicolás de Hidalgo (México). The main research lines of the group are soil processes and degradation of Mediterranean soils, as well as the relationships between soils and geomorphology. The group is formed by a stable team of researchers (biologists, chemists, geomorphologists, geographers and agricultural engineers), collaborators, auxiliary staff, students and staff associated to research projects. The members of the group have written and directed a high number of PhD Thesis and participated in several papers published in national and international journals, national and international congresses, and several research projects with public and private institutions.
