🚒 Did you know there’s a lift specifically designed for use by the fire service?

In the event of a fire, conventional lifts must not be used ⚠️. However, firefighter lifts, which are regulated by standard EN 81-72, are designed to facilitate the work of emergency services.

They allow rapid access to the highest floors, transport heavy equipment, and facilitate the rescue and evacuation of people when staircases or other access routes are unsafe or blocked by smoke or fire.

Technical training and the exchange of knowledge are key to continuing to grow together. 🤝

Last week, we welcomed our clients KAFKIAS Elevator Progress, DIMITRIADIS, NedLift, MinoanLift Χαλκιαδάκης and INTERLIFT to MP Lifts for a series of sessions dedicated to learning about our solutions and our value proposition.

Over three days, the programme combined corporate sessions, product presentations, tours of the factory and R&D laboratory, and specific technical training on our MP ecoGO and MP LOGIX 40 control systems.

It has been a pleasure to have the participation and involvement of our Greek clients, led by Kafkias Apostolos, and the team from Cyprus, headed by Nikolas Agapiou.

Thank you all for sharing this highly fruitful experience of learning and knowledge exchange with the MP team. Let’s keep moving forward together!

A unique modernisation project 🔧

The MP Liften team in the Netherlands has replaced an existing Helix lift with an MP GO lift.

Unlike conventional lifts, a Helix lift moves the car through the shaft in a spiral motion. An MRL (machine roomless) lift, such as our MP GO, operates without a separate machine room.

The glass shaft made this technically challenging project even more special.

Thanks to the teamwork and dedication of our colleagues, we achieved an excellent result, and we’re proud of what they’ve accomplished. 🙌

A fascinating rehabilitation project of the old underground mill of La Mina, in Alcalá de Guadaira.✨

This is a unique hydraulic infrastructure in Spain, built between the 14th and 15th centuries.

MP Lifts has designed, manufactured and installed a MP Hydro lift, without a machine room, with a capacity of 800 kg, 2 stops and double landing at 180º. The car, roof and doors are made of glass. 🛗

The architectural project has been carried out by the firm Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra.

Last Sunday, 70 MP staff members participated in the Paris–Versailles race: 16 km, the legendary Côte des Gardes, and plenty of effort along the way—but also encouragement, laughter, and the satisfaction of crossing the finish line together. 💪🗼

For the third consecutive year, this initiative has brought together MP People from different countries around a shared sporting challenge. An opportunity to challenge ourselves, support one another and share unforgettable moments as a team.

Well done to everyone who took part! 👏

And now… time to recover and start thinking about the next challenge.

🏃‍♂️ After Seville and Warsaw, we're going to Paris!

This Sunday, 70 MP Lifts - Ascensores staff members from across Europe will be gathering at the starting line of the legendary Paris–Versailles race! 🗼➡️🏰

For the third year running, MP Lifts is giving its staff the opportunity to take part in a major running event in one of the European capitals where our Group operates.

These gatherings are much more than just sporting events. They allow us to come together in a different way, to build bonds between our teams, to share a memorable moment and to push ourselves to new heights together.

A huge thank you to MP for making these adventures possible and for continuing to foster this team spirit beyond our day-to-day working lives. ❤️

On Sunday, we’ll obviously have to tackle the 16 km and the famous Côte des Gardes… but with 70 MP runners at the start line, there’s sure to be plenty of encouragement! 💪

One team, one challenge and a wonderful adventure to share together!
