🌊 How do young people imagine the ocean in 2050?

Nearly 100 students from Cantabria took part in the 4th edition of the school competition "How do you imagine the ocean in 2050?", an initiative promoted by the Cantabria Maritime Cluster (MarCA) and the Regional Ministry of Education, with the collaboration of .

Through sculptures and creative projects, students shared their vision of the challenges and opportunities facing our oceans, showing a deep understanding of sustainability, the blue economy and circularity ♻️

As part of this initiative, ASPLA reflected with participants on the importance of protecting the marine environment and the role that innovation, ecodesign and recycling can play in preventing waste from reaching nature.

🌍 Because building a more sustainable future starts with awareness, education and the ideas of new generations.

Casi un centenar de estudiantes de Cantabria han participado en la IV edición del concurso escolar "Cómo imaginas el océano en 2050", una iniciativa impulsada por el Clúster Marítimo de Cantabria (MarCA) y la Consejería de Educación, con la colaboración de .

A través de esculturas y proyectos creativos, los alumnos compartieron su visión sobre los retos y oportunidades de los océanos, demostrando una gran comprensión de conceptos como la sostenibilidad, la economía azul y la economía circular♻️

Como parte de esta colaboración, ASPLA reflexionó junto a los estudiantes sobre la importancia de proteger el medio marino y sobre el papel que pueden desempeñar la innovación, el ecodiseño y el reciclaje para evitar que los residuos lleguen a la naturaleza.

🏫🧩 Learning about business… by experiencing it first-hand

As part of the “Family Business in the Classroom” program by ACEFAM, we recently shared two special sessions with 36 students from 4th year of Secondary Education (Economics and Entrepreneurship) at IES Miguel Herrero.

On May 7th, we visited the school, where Ana Álvarez shared her experience and journey within the family business, giving students insight into the industrial reality of our Group. We then carried out a teamwork dynamic using the 3x3 cube challenge, showing how coordination and task distribution improve results.

Yesterday, May 21st, the experience continued at Aspla Reocín, where the students toured the plant. The visit was led by our Sustainability Manager, Andrés García de Tuñón, who explained how innovation and circular economy principles are integrated into our industrial model.

We will continue opening our doors to bring the reality of family business closer to new generations.

🏫🧩 Aprender empresa… viviéndola desde dentro

En el marco del programa “Empresa Familiar en las Aulas” de ACEFAM, hemos compartido dos jornadas con los 36 alumnos de 4º de ESO de Economía y Emprendimiento del IES Miguel Herrero.

El pasado 7 de mayo visitamos el centro, donde Ana Álvarez compartió su experiencia y trayectoria dentro de la empresa familiar, acercando al alumnado la realidad industrial del Grupo. Después realizamos una dinámica sobre trabajo en equipo con el reto del cubo 3x3, demostrando cómo la coordinación y el reparto de tareas mejoran los resultados.

Y ayer, 21 de mayo, el aprendizaje continuó en Aspla Reocín, donde realizaron un recorrido por la planta. La visita fue guiada por nuestro responsable de sostenibilidad, Andrés García de Tuñón, quien les explicó cómo integramos innovación y economía circular en nuestro modelo industrial.

Seguimos abriendo nuestras puertas para acercar la empresa familiar a las nuevas generaciones.
