For 20 years, King Marine has built one-off racing yachts at the extreme limits of speed, weight and load. Our Innovation division now applies that same engineering; autoclave curing, precision lamination, load-optimized design, to industries far beyond the water 🌊

Five active R&D domains:

➖ Marine industry: high-performance racing composites
➖ Agriculture: King Agro’s lightweight machinery parts
➖ Sustainable mobility: high-pressure hydrogen tanks
➖ Aerospace: the only Spanish shipyard collaborating with the European Space Agency
➖ Science: precision housings for radiation instrumentation

All reinforced by our strategic R&D partnership with Prosix. We are not diversifying. We are applying.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗼.

Provezza and Platoon Aviation are tied at the top after a second day shaped by shifting breeze, major wind shifts and constant place changes across the fleet.

The leaderboard reflects the narrow margins of TP52 racing: Provezza and Platoon are level on 15 points, with Vāyu only two points behind after four races. The 2026 title race is tightening too. Sled remains at the top of the overall standings, but Platoon Aviation has cut the gap to just two points.

More unstable conditions are expected tomorrow before Lanzarote’s stronger trade winds are forecast to arrive on Friday.

Lanzarote’s debut on the 52 SUPER SERIES calendar was brutal: gusts touching 30 knots, confused seas between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, and trade winds that never eased all week

“I don’t think I’ve been to a venue where every time you put a foot outside the door it is never blowing less than 15 knots,” said Sled helmsman Adam Beashel ahead of the final day 💬

Racing was even called off entirely one day for excess wind. It was the toughest test of the 2026 season, for crews and boats alike.

And the carbon out of our Alginet yard held its own. Of the 13 TP52s on the line, 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘃𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗼 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮 are all King Marine builds, nearly half the fleet

Andrea Lacorte’s Alkedo Vitamina stayed near the front all week and finished just one point off the lead heading into the final race. A costly early start cost them the win, but they clawed back to a 2nd overall finish. “The boat is fast, the crew is fantastic, and we are pushing hard,” said Lacorte.

Harm Müller-Spreer’s team won the final two races of the regatta despite a spinnaker scare while leading, closing 4th in Lanzarote and holding 2nd overall for the season.

Botín-designed TP52 was launched from our Alginet yard only in late April 2026, barely three months before Lanzarote (King Marine). With Joakim Sundberg on the helm and Ed Baird calling tactics, the young team added another race win to their season tally on the windiest day of the whole week, gusts over 30 knots. “It’s the first time this group has ever sailed these boats in this much wind, and I’m enjoying it,” said Baird.

Ever wondered who builds a TP52 and how? ⚓

Just outside Valencia, in Alginet, we’ve spent 20 years crafting some of the world’s fastest racing yachts using aerospace-grade carbon fibre. From precision-milled moulds to ultra-thin pre-preg layers cured under vacuum, every boat is a one-off—engineered, checked, and perfected down to the millimetre 🚀

No shortcuts. Just obsession, craftsmanship, and performance.

The 2026 edition will go down as one of the fastest, most intense crossings to the Onion Patch in recent history.
In the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse Division, our brand‑new Mills 58 Denali Sailing built by King Marine in Valencia and designed by Mills Design Ltd., charged into Bermuda with the leading group and stepped onto the corrected‑time podium.

Alongside campaigns like the Botin 65 Interlodge 8, who managed a 7th place, precisely tuned for this race and among the early arrivals at St. David’s Lighthouse.

The 2026 Newport–Bermuda Race underlines the role of King Marine builds in top‑level offshore competition: yachts engineered and constructed in Valencia delivering thousands of demanding offshore miles and confirmed podium performances on one of the world’s most respected bluewater courses.
