Engineer Kirubel Tefera-ኢንጂነር ኪሩቤል ተፈራ PhD Candidate and Researcher on Civil Engineering Structures at Southwest Jiaotong University, China

Kirubel Tefera Gesho is currently pursuing a PhD in Civil Engineering at the School of Civil Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University (Chengdu, China). He is also a faculty member at Dilla University (Dilla, Ethiopia). His doctoral research focuses on seismic fragility analysis of civil engineering structures.

We had an insightful and successful 7th Science Week at Dilla University under the theme Science for the Brightest Tomorrow. We were honored to host two inspiring keynote speakers:
🔹 Dr. Ir. Mesele Haile – Applied Research Commercialization for Societal Transformation
🔹 Dr. Kula Kekeba – The Dilemmas of AI in Academic Research and Innovation
I feel truly lucky to have been part of this event, and I would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Ir. Mesele Haile (MH) for his insightful experience sharing and valuable perspectives.
A sincere appreciation to both keynote speakers and to the Dilla University coordinators for their dedication in making this program impactful and memorable.
