Simba Security Service , a member of East African Holding, has officially achieved ISO 18788:2015 certification for Security Operations Management Systems, following a successful audit by Intertek, a UKAS-accredited certification body.

The certification provides an internationally recognized framework for managing security operations, including risk management, operational controls, legal and human rights considerations, and continuous improvement.

For Simba Security Service, the certification marks an important step in strengthening its systems and practices in line with internationally recognized standards, while supporting its ambition to provide technology-enabled and responsible security services across Ethiopia and the wider region.

The certification also strengthens Simba Security Service’s capacity to engage with international clients and opportunities where adherence to recognized security operations standards is required.

A significant achievement for Simba Security Service as it continues to develop its capabilities and expand its reach!

East African Holding is looking for an experienced culinary professional to lead the kitchen and food service operations of its Executive Guest House kitchen and food service function.

The Head Chef / Executive Chef will be responsible for delivering high-quality Ethiopian/local and international cuisine for Group Executives, Board Members, senior management, official guests, international visitors, business partners, and other distinguished guests.

The role will lead the Guest House kitchen team and oversee menu planning, food preparation, culinary quality, food safety and hygiene, kitchen operations, inventory and cost control, as well as catering arrangements for executive meetings, business dinners, receptions, official functions, and special events.

Established in 1998, East African Industrial Park (EAIP) was Ethiopia’s first industrial park, launched as a private initiative at a time when there was no national legal or institutional framework for industrial park development.

Since then, EAIP has grown from its original 20.6-hectare footprint into an established industrial hub along Ethiopia’s strategic logistics corridors, currently hosting several tenants across fully serviced sheds and supporting over 1,000 jobs.

Today, EAIP is entering a new phase.

With 50 hectares secured for development and its status established as the East African Special Economic Zone, EAIP is positioned to expand its capacity for manufacturing, agro-processing, logistics, and new investment.

With a historic foundation, we continue to focus on the future.
