Today, Buzuayehu Tadele and His Family Foundation (BTFF), the CSR arm of East African Holding, signed an MoU with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA Ethiopia) to strengthen community well-being through collaborative social development initiatives in areas where EAH and its subsidiaries operate. This milestone also marks BTFF as the first family foundation in Ethiopia to formally partner and work with a UN agency.

The partnership will focus on expanding awareness and access to sexual and reproductive health services, promoting family planning, supporting adolescent health and life-skills education, advancing Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), and strengthening responses to gender-based violence through community outreach programs that improve lives and create lasting impact.

At East African Holding, we believe development is most meaningful when it extends beyond industry and reaches the communities we serve. Through BTFF, we remain committed to giving back to the community to foster dignity, opportunity, and a better future for generations to come.

Before industrial parks became part of Ethiopiaโ€™s industrial landscape, the East African Industrial Park had already begun taking shape.

Founded in 1998, EAIP became Ethiopiaโ€™s first home-grown private industrial park development, built through patience, long-term thinking, and a deep belief in local industrial growth.

What began as a vision in Bishoftu has since grown into an industrial hub spanning 20.6 hectares of developed land, supporting production across agro-processing and FMCG sectors, with expansion plans extending beyond 100 hectares.
