Smart Energy Transition Smart Energy Transition (SET) is a research consortium analysing the ongoing global energy transition and its impacts on the Finnish society.

We
(1) Analyse the technological disruption underlying the smart energy transition and its impacts on Finland and its spearheads of growth: cleantech and digitalization and bioeconomy
(2) Explore how different sectors can benefit from the transition, considering the institutional framework, emerging business ecosystems, competence gaps identified in pilots, the political and regulatory framewor

(3) Co-create solutions by articulating the impacts, opportunities and threats of disruptive technologies to companies, policymakers and consumers.
