By building a series of open-source foundation models, the OpenEuroLLM initiative represents Europe's coordinated effort to create open AI models that businesses can own, control and embed into their products, enabling research & business innovation across the region.
As a next generation to AMD Silo AI’s efforts on Poro, Viking and Europa, this is Europe's largest open-source AI initiative to date and brings together 20 leading institutions, with a focus on:
