Keskellä kylmintä pakkaskautta on kiva palata niihin kesänmakuisiin hetkiin, kun piirsin kuosiaineistoa nyt alkaneelle vuodelle. Sadonkorjuu-kuosiperhe syntyi kotipihan hyötypuutarhassa ristiin rastiin kiipeilevien herneiden, auringon lämmittämien vihannesten ja hiljalleen kypsyvien viinimarjojen innoittamana. Kuosikokoelma suuntaa Patternsfrom Agency matkassa ensi viikolla Saksaan Heimtextil messuille.

Tammikuussa kolmen TEXOlaisen tekstiilisuunnittelijan Tanja Kallion, Miira Zukaleen ja Ammi Lahtisen kuosit matkaavat kuosiagentuuri Patternsfrom Agencyn mukana Heimtextil-messuille.

Heimtextil on maailman suurin kodin- ja sisustustekstiilien messutapahtuma, joka järjestetään vuosittain Frankfurtissa, Saksassa. Messu kokoaa yhteen tekstiilialan ammattilaiset, suunnittelijat, valmistajat ja ostajat eri puolilta maailmaa.

Thank you Tokyo and Gift Show!

Our pattern designs in modern, Scandinavian style are suitable also for accessories both in fashion and interiors, which are perfect gifts! We had several great meetings about the pattern licensing possibilities - more about the outcome later on!

One of the most memorable discussions was with four men from California, US. They were not into pattern designs, but in blockchain business. They were pretty impressed by our collection launched in blockchain at OpenSea about a year ago.

Today is the "Entrepreneurs day" in Finland. In Finnish the Word for entrepreneur is "yrittäjä", the one who tries.

So here we are two friends from childhood, Jenni and Kristiina. Often though to be sisters, sometimes even a romantic couple. We met in scouting and maybe that is why we have taken very literally our trying.

We have tried for many years and in many ways to sell and license patterns in a fair way for both our designers and customers. We have succeeded and then often not. But we keep on trying.

As any small company owner knows, there are times when you think that anything is possible and then there are times you just want to throw everything from the balcony.

So that is why we are lucky to try together. When the other one gets lost in the forest and wants to give up, the other one still has the power to try a new direction.

Here we are trying the China direction and we both think that anything is possible!

Love for all our fellow "Yrittäjät"! Keep on trying and believing in your business!

Last week we have been busy exhibiting in Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles and meeting our customers in Shanghai area. Thank you for visiting our good-mood booth!

Next week Jenni will head to Tokyo and you can meet her at Tokyo International Gift Show（TIGS）and see all the fresh patterns that our talented designers have come up with.

If you are unable to come to the fair, but would like to meet Jenni, she can visit your office. She will stay in Tokyo untill September 11th.

The first exhibition for this year for Patternsfrom Agency will be Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles. It begins in two week, and we are all excited.

We are happy to meet and discuss with textile manufacturers, who are looking for pattern designs for their collection, support for coordinating collection/colors/concepts, and companies who want to develop their brand further with design and/or sustainability acts.
