For us, AI is not a design tool.

All our patterns are created purely through human creativity and a traditional design process—and the same goes for the designers we work with.

While our visual art is 100% human-made, we use AI as an editor for our written content. We write our posts and articles ourselves, and AI helps us polish the text for clarity before publishing.

In light of the new EU AI Act Article 50 transparency requirements, we are proud to keep things clear and honest with you.

Keskellä kylmintä pakkaskautta on kiva palata niihin kesänmakuisiin hetkiin, kun piirsin kuosiaineistoa nyt alkaneelle vuodelle. Sadonkorjuu-kuosiperhe syntyi kotipihan hyötypuutarhassa ristiin rastiin kiipeilevien herneiden, auringon lämmittämien vihannesten ja hiljalleen kypsyvien viinimarjojen innoittamana. Kuosikokoelma suuntaa Patternsfrom Agency matkassa ensi viikolla Saksaan Heimtextil messuille.

Nähdään Heimtextilissä!

Tammikuussa kolmen TEXOlaisen tekstiilisuunnittelijan Tanja Kallion, Miira Zukaleen ja Ammi Lahtisen kuosit matkaavat kuosiagentuuri Patternsfrom Agencyn mukana Heimtextil-messuille.

Heimtextil on maailman suurin kodin- ja sisustustekstiilien messutapahtuma, joka järjestetään vuosittain Frankfurtissa, Saksassa. Messu kokoaa yhteen tekstiilialan ammattilaiset, suunnittelijat, valmistajat ja ostajat eri puolilta maailmaa.

Today is the "Entrepreneurs day" in Finland. In Finnish the Word for entrepreneur is "yrittäjä", the one who tries.

So here we are two friends from childhood, Jenni and Kristiina. Often though to be sisters, sometimes even a romantic couple. We met in scouting and maybe that is why we have taken very literally our trying.

We have tried for many years and in many ways to sell and license patterns in a fair way for both our designers and customers. We have succeeded and then often not. But we keep on trying.

As any small company owner knows, there are times when you think that anything is possible and then there are times you just want to throw everything from the balcony.

So that is why we are lucky to try together. When the other one gets lost in the forest and wants to give up, the other one still has the power to try a new direction.

Here we are trying the China direction and we both think that anything is possible!
