Grafintec on julkaissut uuden Usein kysytyt kysymykset (UKK) -sivun, joka kokoaa yhteen Aitolammen ja Rääpysjärven malminetsintähankkeisiin liittyviä kysymyksiä ja huolenaiheita.

Sivu on koottu vuosien varrella käytyjen keskustelujen, tiedotustilaisuuksien sekä asukkaiden, maanomistajien, mökkiläisten ja muiden sidosryhmien esittämien kysymysten pohjalta. Aiheita ovat muun muassa vesistöt, ympäristövaikutukset, liikenne, melu, mahdollinen kaivostoiminta, seuranta sekä lupaprosessit.

Tavoitteenamme on tarjota mahdollisimman avointa, helposti saatavilla olevaa ja tutkittuun tietoon perustuvaa tietoa hankkeiden eri vaiheista sekä siitä, miten lähestymme malminetsintään liittyviä huolenaiheita.

Good momentum across our Finnish projects over the past month.

Grafintec was pleased to take part in the inaugural Power Coast Summit, engaging with a strong audience around battery materials and regional investment opportunities. We also hosted two well-attended public meetings for our Aitolampi and Rääpysjärvi projects - an important part of maintaining transparent, two-way dialogue with local stakeholders.

Recent work continues to strengthen the case for both projects. Aitolampi stands out as one of Europe’s largest defined flake graphite deposits, while ongoing exploration at Rääpysjärvi is indicating potential for a system of comparable scale.

We appreciate the continued engagement and look forward to progressing the next phases of development.

We are pleased to provide an update on the development of the Graphite Anode Materials Plant (GAMP) and our exploration projects in Finland.

Highlights
🔹 Initial public meeting held in Keltakallio to present GAMP to local residents
🔹 Visited potential sites for the development of the demonstration plant in the Kotka area
🔹 Aitolampi and Rääpysjärvi projects visited to review historic, and plan future activity
🔹 Rääpysjärvi exploration licence renewed from 30 September 2025 for three years

The primary focus of the next phase of exploration, when financial resources allow, will be to drill and define a mineral resource at Rääpysjärvi to demostrate the scale potential and confirm the surface grades extend to depth.

To support the development of the GAMP project, has applied for a tax credit, totalling €131.5m over 11 years, through Business Finland's scheme aimed at promoting large clean-transition investments. A decision is expected by end of 2025.

The tax credit aims to lower effective operating costs, improve cash flow, and reduce financial risk, enhancing the competitiveness of Finnish producers against global competitors. Alongside this credit, Grafintec is evaluating further EU and Business Finland support mechanisms.

We are very pleased to announce that Grafintec Oy has signed a site reservation agreement with the City of Kotka in southern Finland. The agreement secures a site on Plot 285-46-168-3 in the Keltakallio industrial area, marking a major step forward in the establishment of the Graphite Anode Materials Plant (GAMP). Read more:
