What is the current status of the fully electric Wille e475Δ machine? ⚡The machine will be showcased at summer events in both Finland and Sweden, and between events it is undergoing intensive product development testing. The testing covers a wide range of operating situations and the machine’s various systems, including the drive system, hydraulics, as well as the charging, heating and cooling systems.

The Wille e475Δ environmental maintenance machine has been designed from the ground up to perform all the same tasks as its diesel-powered counterpart, using existing attachments, year-round and without compromising performance.

At the same time, the electric powertrain brings new capabilities: power and torque are available instantly, and separate electric motors for driving and working hydraulics make it possible, when needed, to achieve up to double the power compared to traditional solutions.

Based on feedback from demo situations, one impression has been repeated: the machine’s quietness makes a strong impact on operators ✨

New Wille 675Δ and 875Δ environmental management machines were delivered to Tammelan Vesi ja Lämpö Oy with service agreements and a customized black colour scheme 🔥

At the company, equipment is viewed from a long-term perspective. When the same machine works year-round, supports multiple attachments and remains in constant use, overall costs stay under control.

“We want to keep up with development while also remaining economically efficient. That requires modern and cost-effective equipment,” summarizes co-owner Roope Raiskio-Rantanen.

Today, the first three Wille 475Δ machines were delivered to Kotikatu Jokilaakso Oy as part of the Group’s larger order.

Wille Machines had the pleasure of hosting representatives from the cities of Helsinki, Imatra and Kotka, who are participating in the Business Finland-funded project “Piloting heavy electric work machinery and charging solutions.” The intercity collaboration project, which also includes the City of Lappeenranta, aims to gather practical experience, test charging solutions and promote the adoption and procurement models of zero-emission work machines in Finland.

As a pioneer in the field, Wille Machines has been researching and developing electric and hybrid technologies for work machines for nearly a decade, and has launched Finland’s first fast-charging fully electric environmental maintenance machine ⚡ The zero-emission Wille e475Δ, delivering performance equivalent to its diesel counterpart, attracted significant interest among the visitors.

In addition to presentations and discussions, a highlight of the visit was the opportunity to see the progress of the e475Δ model towards serial production.

Working with Wille is something to celebrate every day of the year 🥳 Today, the festive spirit is lifted even higher by the eve of May Day!

At the Wille factory, employee wellbeing is an important priority 💛 The traditional “Savihölkkä” (“Clay Run”) event held in Loimaa (home of our factory) has inspired an increasing number of Wille employees to take part each year, and this year we were represented by a record-breaking 22 participants. The event is traditionally run in spring conditions, and this time with a slight touch of late winter as well.

“Savihölkkä” is named after the clay soils of Loimaa, but the 7 km route, located in the town centre, runs mainly on paved roads 🏃‍♂️Participants can take part competitively by running or more casually by jogging or walking. The largest teams from companies and associations are rewarded, which further boosts the strong team spirit at the event.

Eemeli Levomäki, who works in the spare parts sales packing department, was the first Wille participant to break the symbolic 30-minute mark with a time of 29:41. To recognize this historic achievement, we rewarded him with a Wille shirt. The fastest Wille woman was Elisa Jälkö from the finance department, with a time of 35:55. Congratulations to all the fit and dedicated Wille employees! 👏
