WCC’s Bluewater Day at Berthon Lymington brought together offshore sailors to share ideas, experiences and preparations for future passages.

Reliable energy generation remains one of the key topics when planning life at sea. Great to see Advance Yacht Systems sharing their expertise and supporting sailors in planning reliable energy systems for long-distance cruising.

World Cruising Club Bluewater Day at Berthon Lymington — past and future bluewater crews gathered for our talk Choosing for Cruising — Equipment and a Q&A on system planning ahead of a bluewater season.

Two boats arrived with Remoran Oy Wave 3 hydrogenerators already fitted — Juniper, and Constance a Swan 441 outfitted by White Dot Sailing — and they drew steady interest from other crews thinking through their own charging strategy.
